The Co-operators raises $197,740 for United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin


GUELPH, OntarioMarch 12, 2014 /Canada NewsWire/ - The Co-operators and its employees in Guelph raised a total of $197,740during the 2013 United Way campaign to support the vital health and social services provided by United Way member agencies in our community. During the staff-led campaign, employees made donations at fundraising events such as casual days, raffles and United Way education sessions and through payroll deductions, raising $149,640. The Co-operators made corporate contributions of $48,100.
Nationally, The Co-operators group of companies raised $686,288 for the United Way. A series of local staff-led campaigns were conducted in offices throughout the country, with both individual donations and corporate contributions directed to local United Way chapters.
